So at the moment I can sit at a pub in the middle of the 'hotspot' cluster all night long at the front bar next to a bunch of strangers and not where a mask because I'm drinking alcohol.
Heaven forbid though I go into a shop 200km from Adelaide that get no more than 10 customers a day without a mask.
Its getting really bloody hard not to side with a lot of Days thoughts on the matter.
Totally concur with you absolutely makes no sense.
Like i stated in a previous post i was at a party last Saturday night.
Before entering we had to put our mask on the QR code in the walked up a flight of stairs then signed in a again,
Approx 40 to 50 people attended the person in charge laid down the law no drinking or eating whilst standing up if you had to go to the bar to get drinks you had to mask up.
Funny thing is most of us were sitting on those high bar stools around those bar tables 4 to a table some were sitting next to each other on lounges all very nice and intimate.
Of course the drinks and conversation flowed no 1.5 around these tables some times we stood up with drink in hand as well.
Of course after copious amount of drinks we all sung Happy Birthday and we all got told off.
So can you all see the absurdity and ridiculousness of mask wearing
