Missed the South goal from the crap free?
Free kicks 9 all atm
North dominant so far but breeze may have been a factor.
Unlucky to lose your ruck though, completely accidental knee to head, looked painful, poor bugger.

This game so far has produced the type of game I thought. South steadied well in the second but a late goal to North near the end of both quarters is the difference. Got to play to the end!!

Similar game to earlier in the year when both sides met, in that game North were up by 2 goals at half time but got overrun.
South's defensive set up killed us last time, I'm hoping the bigger oval might actually help us in that regard.

Freaking umpires showing no consistency with holding the ball either way.
North leading 20-17 in the free kicks and I'm not complaining that North are leading the count, but 37 in a half of footy is surely way too many. But then some potential frees haven't been paid so who knows? The game is being played at a fast pace and lots of hard tackles and body clashes.

Shouldn't your home oval provide the advantage though? Anyway, Skinner good down back so far for South and taking a lot of intercept marks.

Yeah, as I mentioned before Holding the Ball is a toss of the coin.
One bloke drops it and it's play on, another hand passed it out and was pinged.
Your young fella did make a shocking decision to fly for a mark in defence by putting hands on the shoulder instead of just going the fist. Gave us 6 points at a crucial time.

Oh definitely that Horne-Francis decision was 100% right, he should've just gone the spoil.
PanthersFan wrote:Well that's probably game over. North go 22 points up and have absorbed everything South have thrown at them.
South just don't want it as much as North at this stage, North doing a lot more of the hard work like tackling.
South need to lift big time, surely they realise how important this game is?

South are the laziest team of the current top 5
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
