Surely distance from CBD isn't a factor given Elizabeth would be about the same distance as Noarlunga?

Noarlunga would be harder to get to these days now the Northern expressway is in place.

It's just an excuse we use because of our poor recruiting.

you assume.

We will continue finishing 9th or 10th if the club doesn't resolve the issue quickly.
It's the same every year,we pick up average recruits and lose too many .

The North Adelaide Football Club are excited to announce the signing of William Gowers for the 2022 season.

Name: William Gowers
Age: 24
Height: 178cm
Weight: 75kg

Will Gowers joins the Roosters from the Aspley Hornets. Will played VFL this season, averaging 20 disposals, 4 marks and 4 tackles a game. Will is a midfielder/forward who has speed and a strong skill set by hand and foot. Will can break the lines with his running power and will add a different dynamic to our midfield group.

Senior Coach Jacob Surjan;
“Will is a former Sydney Swans Academy player who clearly has been developed well. Gowers is a mid / forward who can break the lines. He knows how to find the football and loves applying pressure to the opposition. He will add speed and spread to our midfield group. Will had a very strong and consistent season at Aspley in the VFL last season.”

We would like to welcome Will and his family to North Adelaide and we look forward to watching him represent the Roosters in season 2022.

Ben and Jackson Kelly are not included on your 'goings' list?

I think a couple of clubs south of Mawson Lakes are still yet to announce their biggest recruits for 2022?

Spotted recently delisted Richmond Tiger Pat Naish in the mall today, wonder if over on a holiday or visiting a potential new SANFL club?

Haven't seen news of him signing anywhere yet
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Surely the Eagles aren't going with just 3 new recruits for 2022? Whatever happened to the supposed 50 applications from a few weeks back?

Maybe none of them were any good :) ? I actually think the club is doing the right thing by limiting its recruiting and only targeting obvious gaps.

Of those who left the club at the end of the season only Stengle, Giuffreda, Poole and Jungfer would have been regular league players. Von Bertouch would have been in this category 12 months ago but his form dropped so much he may only have been backup.

I guess they figure Duval is Giuffreda's replacement, Almond covers Poole. Ballenden will take the role of Von Bertouch played up until midway though this season. That leaves Stengle and Jungfer to replace. It would be difficult for the club to recruit anyone who could immediately replace the quality of Stengle but the club may be looking to Williams to step up and perform in that role like he did in the first few rounds of the season. Or Hardie.

Jungfer was a very good player for us (particularly in the GF) but his position is probably one that another player at our club could fill. Litster is his most obvious replacement.

Then there are players like Macfarlane who normally would have played in our GF side but didn't make it due to injury late in the season that prevented them from getting enough game time.

We also have a host of very talented U18s and Reserves players who will be seeking that opportunity for league games and am looking forward to Sheedy giving them a go this year. Hoile and Dawkins from the reserves. Lukac, Cooke, D'Aloia, Phillipou, Neumann Watson and Thomson form the U18s.

Bay's you reckon?

Quick bit of instagram research & he's recently followed Norwood, Cam Taheny & Jay Rantall so the redlegs might be a show too
