True - probably not a fair indication. I guess the fight that your lot did show on Saturday will probably disappear completely when the real stuff starts.

But seriously, I can't see where the runs are going to come from for the Redcaps this year.

Maybe Mylor should concentrate on their own backyard and geting (and keeping) a team into A grade? easy option for us would be to drop back and win minor grades premierships...

To be fair, we didn't play a good game on Saturday and our bowling was pretty average.

Where will our runs come from - well obviously we'll rely on Justice but there are a couple of lesser known guys who really want to make their mark on the competition.

Something to note, no team lost last season when an individual made over 80 and we have 2 guys who can easily do that and 4 who could.

We don't expect to win this year and we don't have a destructive batting lineup but we hope it will account for some teams.

Anyone have a tip for the flag this year?
Meadows are surely the favourites but I think Bridgey are going to go close. What about Onka's, do they have a new quick?

We hope that a couple of our young guys can score some runs in addition to Justice and Collins. We'd love for a young guy to step up and be a Double D in a red cap though!

Bowling - Robbie Hunkin, Zef Wood and Dave Bennett are our quicks with 2 or 3 other seamers. Plus a useless leggie who stole 2 shocking wickets against Bridgey last year.

It's a bit up in the air until selection night on Thursday, no brand new batsmen but have done a lot of hard work over winter so don't be surprised if they all score a few.

mylor c grade look to be a very strong bowling line up Dan agars will demolish many batting line ups through the year the only negative i could find in their side is perhaps their lack of batting depth apart from manos/ podge they dont give much alex weeks seems to be an absolute superstar and will be very handy in mylors c grade, they beat us comfortably however we were fielding a mostly D grade team. danny cooper looks to have really improved and is keen as mustard for this up coming season could be a real surprise packet for the super c's pistols knocked up a lazy 50 in his preferred form of the game if he can be consistent this year we will be a vastly improved side he can be devastating and can clear any boundry, bring on this season i cant wait, loving the trash talk aswell!

Bookie good to see you on the forum. Im predicting some good runs from you this season. Meadows and Bridgy to be up there this season, and possibly Onkas and Aldgate. Interesting to see Aldgate playing some C and D grade home games at Upper Sturt Primary. Could be an interesting year for the C Grade sloggers with crafers primary, clarendon, oakbank area, scott creek, aldgate and upper sturt primary all being used!

Agree - it was interesting keeping to some of those guys, with all of 20 overs under my belt last season! But with Sid and Phil Johnson and with Brent Lores returning from injury we should be OK in the batting department, but I do expect us to get rolled in a few games.

If Ben Kemp (Best Bat in Hills) and ex Woodside, Sturt and Torrens Valley Fast Bowler Aaron Galvin are both at Onkas, I'd expect them to be around the mark in the Hills Comp.

TV rep Keith Whitcher has taken the captaincy at Birdwood.
