And I get 2 minutes down the road to Arndale and it’s dry as a boneWedgie wrote:Jim05 wrote:At Croydon and it’s sunny, next thing I hear a huge clap of Thunder and moments later it’s pelting downSpargo wrote:Hail absolutely pelting down in North Adelaide currently.
Yep, ruined my lunch, was sitting out the back reading the paper enjoying a pie and had to make a runner inside in a hurry!
Still, it's an excuse not to walk the dog.

Hmm, I could take the dog for a walk at Arndale but it might not get out with its life.

I always check in on FB if I ever have to go there, at least people know where I was last seen.
That place is a whole new world, even for a special breed such as myself.

Believe it or not it’s actually improved down there in the last year or so but it’s still another worldLightning McQueen wrote:Wedgie wrote:Jim05 wrote:And I get 2 minutes down the road to Arndale and it’s dry as a bone

Lots of farmers have already started seeding also hoping for a decent rain to bring it all up at once. I have never none it not to rain in our area on Yorkes so just have to be patient and it will come.

Haven’t been out to check gauge yet but would be close to 5mm so far. A more significant rain event coming Sunday Monday and about time too.
Got 75% of our seeding done now dry. Hopefully finish Sunday afternoon before the heavens open.
Above average winter/spring rainfall has been predicted by the BOM which mean it’s going to have to rain a lot as we are just so far behind average.
