Former Powderfinger bassist John 'JC' Collins is now managing on behalf of Live Nation and others a new live music venue Hindley Street Music Hall on the site of the old HQ Complex. The first show open to the public will be in August and it has 1,800 capacity.
It's almost like there's an election around the corner or something but bloody good news for Adelaide.

The venue, situated at 149 Hindley Street is backed by multinational touring company Live Nation, Secret Sounds (promoters of Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festivals) and Adelaide based Five Four Entertainment. The project is being overseen by ex Powderfinger bassist John Collins (JC) who has successfully managed the operations’ Brisbane venues since 2014.

Lol, I went to Melbourne in March 2020 to see this tour as they had no shows in Adelaide. Got lucky though, the concert I went to at the Palais Theatre was an extra show due to sell-outs but was their only Australian one after Covid began to wreak havoc.Gozu wrote: Pixies @ Thebarton Theatre Thu 8th Dec
