A win not far away. $7.50 the place fixed yesterday thanks very much.

Same here, happy result, had no racing room for a lot of it.
Hope he stays over there.

Same here. $7.35 after deductions

Same here, I thought 7.50 was as good as a win price, the fave was always going to be hard to beat, a bit more racing room and who knows?

Will Price has such a good feel for the horse, their record is pretty good, 66% place.

Overall Lefty has an 18% win and 47% place record, he could've been a bloody good horse, there's some silly mistakes that burn inside a few of us.

Looking at a 1400m BM84 in a fortnight's time @ Caulfield with a light weight, he's pretty much had Billy Brownless on him for most of his races for a while, I reckon he won last time he had 56kgs on him.

yeah when I owned some nags I was of the belief that us owners knew more about the horse than the trainer

Great run, last on the turn & would’ve won with another 2 strides.
Poly track no issue.

Love to be positive but I'm not.

Was meant to run in a 1400 @ Caulfield (his favourite distance), withdrew because of a crap barrier.

Now in a 1200 @ Murray F******* Bridge drawing barrier 13.

This horse could've more than doubled his career winnings with a more competent trainer.

I had issues with our trainer as well. The sire was a genuine group 3200m horse and yet we continued to run our horse over 1000/1100m. Clearly bred to get distance, yet we continued to flip between being a sprinter over 1000 or when failing, needing longer (1200m) then when failing again, needing the shorter distance because he couldn't run it out. Finished up in Alice Springs.

I'm not saying he would've been any good, but we'll never know! Even running him over 2000 or 2400m would've been a start! Maybe that's why I'm not a trainer.
