If you can guide the two most historically inept clubs to grand finals you can obviously coach, but Ross has an ego the size of the MCG.

100% agree.
If it wasn't for the style of play Ross brings he would be held in a much higher regard.
Funnily enough if things had gone differently for him on GF day twice he would be regarded as one of the games greatest coaches.
My opinion has always been you should judge a coach on his ability to get the team to a GF......what happens on the day has so many variables that you cant really judge a persons ability because of it eg ball bounces differently for Milne and Ross is a St Kilda all time legend etc etc.
