I wonder which state that might be?

Honestly, every round will be dedicated to something within a few years, maybe even a "heritage" round where clubs can where a guernsey to represent their history.

I thought Magic Round in the NRL involved a weekend of pissing in your mouth.

It will simply be in the state that pays the most $$ for it, that can be the only reason to run a round like that surely?

It will simply be in Victoria.

Zero chance that the VFL will play an extra round and have all the Victorian teams travel.

WA, get Tina Turner over for "Simply the West" round. The NRL would be enraged :D

Victoria and Queensland are the only states with 2 suitable venues. Can’t play 9 games in 3 days anywhere else

Won’t need 2 venues if they do triple headers over 3 days.

Well if it's Gold Coast v Western Bulldogs, Melbourne v Fremantle, North Melbourne v St Kilda, Brisbane v Sydney, Hawthorn v West Coast, Geelong v Fremantle or any combo of those teams then Norwood Oval is plenty big enough.

More from a ground damage POV.
In the NRL even with multiple grounds on Magic round the surface can get chopped up badly. Maybe if you played it when the conditions should be better ie not in the middle of winter it could work

Even if only half the allegations are true, this is not going to end well for the individuals, the club and the game

Perhaps Sydney but doubtful Tassie.
They ain’t going to schedule a round designed for fans in a place that has two tinpot stadiums
Having it in Victoria would guarantee the biggest crowds if that’s what they are trying to achieve

I've always known the afl industry is cutthroat and ruthless.
But this is a whole new level of bastardry!
Surely if even a skerrick of these stories is true, Clarkson, as head coach at the time, is in all sorts.
Makes us at the pies look like angels in comparison.
