I wouldn't mind if squads were trimmed drastically and you could use any of your squad on gameday.

No point saying "He's happy where he is" or "Lol, he's going nowhere" as when they do up and leave you just look silly.

What are you willing to give up to get JHF.

You would think the number 8 pick is gone and then its a matter of whether its next years first round pick or a player.

Would you give up next years first round or Butters.....???

I would not give up Butters, no. In his 66 games he's shown he's got the ability/potential to be an elite player, if he doesn't reach elite status he'll be a very good player. JFH, at this point, is on potential alone.

I'd give up pick 8 this year and next years 1st rounder, hopefully we return to finals which means that could be in the 10-18 bracket. If North think we're a shot at finals and see 8/2022 and 13*/2023, would that get it done?

Frankly, it should. They have a bloke who doesn't want to be there, he's been as badly managed as the club has and it's hardly an elite environment you're selling him at the moment. I'd take 2 x 1st rounders and move on.

Yeah agree, if it turns out to be 8 and F13ish definitely don't want to be giving up Butters who like you said is a potential A grader.

North should be asking for 2 x firsts (this years & next) plus a 2nd or 3rd at least if not getting a player
This years pick is already going to be 9 due to Ashcroft bid and could be lower if other bids come, who knows what the next years first will be
He's contracted and said he wont go to Adelaide so Port will need to pay overs (could turn out as unders if hes as good as predicted)

The potential to have Wines at 27 in a midfield with Rozee, Butters and JHF wouldn't be as attractive without Butters in there.

No 1draft pick leaving after only 1 year and nominating the club he wants to go to?

Yeah, NM should hold Port over a barrel for this one.

Like anything, he's worth what someone will pay.

Port have very little leverage with this though.
