Bloody oath it was deliberate.

FL whole marketing strategy is the off season is to have content to challenge the other codes for column inches and media time.

Its why the AFLW goes into cricket season rather than against the mens season, it's why the drat is scheduled as well.

They knew it wouldn't trump it but would fill up the social media pages and media stories for the day.

This wasn't an individual in marketing this is a planned strategy for the last 10 -20 years.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Labor had achieved more for the national interest in six months than the LNP did in ten years.

Arguably more than the coalition has this century.

The lightning-fast achievements of Anthony Albanese and Labor should be blanketing the media. Instead, as usual, Labor's achievements are buried and the LNP remains the focus of coverage. But polls show that voters are paying attention.

The media is increasingly irrelevant, the further it detaches itself from reality. Luckily, real progress, major new infrastructure, and improved living conditions will always resonate with Australians.

Dropped something off to a customer this morning, they had a huge bowl of Ferrero Rochers at reception - must have been over 100 in there.
I said to the girl “I’ll grab one if that’s ok”
“They’re for customers only!” She snaps back
Fair enough, I head back out to van, checking my phone when there’s a knock on passenger side window. It was a customer who was in the salon I’d just been to. Wound down the window & she drops half a dozen Ferrero Rochers on my front seat - “Merry Christmas, darlin” and just kept walking.

Going back a couple of months ago we had a lollie reverse thief getting about in the office.

Every morning there was a fresh hugely stacked bowl of quality lollies, the ones individually wrapped, snakes, trolls, hamburgers etc.

As you'd get a coffee you'd grab a handful to take back with you, they were as fresh as a daisy too. When it emptied, it would get filled again in the morning but no one knew who was doing it.

We were all getting pissed off after a while as none of us had the discipline to not pig out and no one would own up to filling the bowl.

I kept grabbing handfuls and chucking them on people's desk so I could hear them going off about them being there, they'd still eat them though.

Checking my emails this morning & notice at around 5am there was 4 notifications from PayPal confirming 4 payments of $41USD has gone through to eBay commerce inc in the US. Panic sets in, check bank account and one payment has gone through. Quickly move all money to another account. Online resolution centre only goes so far until I hit a wall with eBay. Wait until PayPal call centre opens at 7:30, get straight through - shock horror! Unauthorised payments case lodged, has to be reviewed by a different section, should hopefully have a decision & refund within 10 days.
Receive email at 8:50am from PayPal, 3 x payments refunded to PayPal account, 1 x payment refunded to bank account.
Outstanding.
