IPhone not charging

So got a brand new iPhone a few weeks ago. Accidentally let it go flat last night.

Have plugged it in to a charger we know works and after a couple of hours still not switching back on.

Tried the factory reset of volume up/volume down hold the on button but that hasnt worked either. A couple of reports say the iphone can take up to 3-4 hours to charge back to turning on.

Anyone had this happen before.

Its hard coz pretty much my entire life is on the phone haha and we don't just have a Telstra store i can run down to.

My Ipad wont charge any more either. F*cking crap Apple rubbish.
