Take plenty of balls.
You'll love it.

Deadset average golf, hit 32 points including 18 on the back. Driving ordinary, irons ordinary and putting ordinary. Chipping good, probably saved my bacon.
Course in good nick, pretty fast greens. Doesnt need any more rain- if we have a winter anywhere near the last 2 avoid.

probably had my best day with the driver. hit every fairway, it was ridiculous, no snap hooks, no blocks or slices

It was one of those days where on the tee I had a fair idea where it was going. I'm a short hitter, shotscope stats have me averaging 220m off the tee with Driver, so if I'm to score well I do need to keep it in play. I don't mind leaking into rough if I can have a decent crack at the 2nd shot and advance the ball.Dutchy wrote:mighty_tiger_79 wrote:

thats unreal! If i get anywhere near 50% of fairways hit IM rapt [emoji38]
Currently eyeing off some new drivers, reckon I will go for one of the Wilson new one's, they have really good reviews and dont come with a 4 figure price tag

I've never played golf before....Booney wrote:Grange this Friday.
I was looking forward to the day, still am, but not with as much excitement as before. We have a voucher for 4 rounds + 2 carts. I know my ability, average but I play ( not often enough mind you ) and we were taking some guests, one plays of 21 so again, capable. That's all gone to shit and I'm now going with two blokes who have never, I repeat, NEVER played golf before. F*ck me.
