What's the rule for deliberate rushed now? North player kicked it through the Central goal about 40m out. Thought you basically had to be unnder pressure in the square.

Harry Grant another 3 votes for the Medal? He is going to poll well.
Munns first half was outstanding, and McCormack worked hard all game.
Billy Iles, Hosko and Jezza set up plenty from defence.
All 4 grades won today. Things are certainly turning around at the Club.

Clear free kick, last time I saw the rules if you put it through thr opposition goals//points from more than 9 metres out its a free.
Evened out that stupid goal umpire giving a goal to Central in the first half when it was clearly touched.
Umpires were frigging atrocious both ways.

Only a couple of inches in it.
Short and thick did the trick.

Not sure about the rest of the game but caught the first quarter on Saaanfulnow. FWIW, with the sound off after the first few minutes.
I thought we had the better of the folks in pink to that point to be honest but, regardless, happy to take any breaks after last week's final scoring passage. Swings, roundabouts and all that.

That was as deliberate as it gets. He’s kicked it at the goal.
Luckily the karma bus rocked up immediately and we got the winning goal from the next turnover.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

I guess we got a goal basically from the kick in, so a 7 point play. However, the umpire/s should know the rules.

Central player Jex McLennan got fined $125 for a dangerous tackle when the umpire awarded him a free kick for holding the ball.
Sums up the umpires on Saturday beautifully.

It was obvious that the umpires observer at half time told the umpires to ping the sling. To miss the McLennan one and then ping a number in the second half was ludicrous.
Both sides suffered from the poor umpiring.
Two of the three umpires were much too unfit to umpire league football, Even with a three man umpiring system, they weren't fit enough to get into the correct position.
