Watching some of the social media clips from the last five minutes there are some Melbourne leaders who are going to have long summers thinking about that game and what may have been
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I don't recall either of them being assessed, just figured they would be.

Should be stricken from the record and never talked about again

Horrible game of footy but was great to watch due to it being close, Carlton showed a bit of composure (apart from Acres) in the last few minutes and that made the difference.

Sad day for the footballing world. They say no one is bigger than the game but I’ll make an exception for him.

For me, growing up, I idolised him, Jezza and Lou Richards. It's also sad that when you get to my age almost daily we're saying farewell to these legends of our childhood.

Early doors, but so far, best final for mine. Although I wonder how Keeffe still gets a game.

Apparently throwing the ball isn't a thing tonight.

A little bit more free flowing but I enjoyed last night's game, it was an arm wrestle but was good to watch.

Hopefully it stays free flowing and a heap of goals are scored, perfect conditions for it.
