Stokes form is a big concern. He's not justifying his spot at 6, however Bairstow also isn't at 5. Brook will come back in for the English summer obviously and I assume they will drop foakes and keep bairstow. However, the inconsistency of Jonny and Stokes with the bat has plauged this team for almost a decade now. The two openers continue to be positives, Pope still looks like a cat on a hot tin roof just stop trying to much for christ sake. We never had the spinners to compete in India anyway and no shame losing to a team that is almost unbeatable there.

Yeah surely Brook comes in if he's right to go and I think Hartley and Bashir performed very well considering their inexperience and lack of first class red ball cricket. Bashir one for the future potentially.

Liton Das of Bangladesh may have played the dumbest most disgraceful shot in test cricket history.

About to head into day 3 of the second test.

Sri Lanka 531
One of the most interesting innings I have seen on paper for a while
0 centuries
6 half centuries
3 run outs
Only 6 extras in 159 overs (4 byes, 2 leg byes)

Bangladesh 1/55
