Yup, didn't see him get one touch at Industree Group Stadium at Gosford.

Re: SANFL 2024
Wow, that was a massive surprise. My "strong" mail, from someone in the know was wrong. It will be interesting to see how many play AFL, I reckon these recruiters get it wrong so often. Jezza could do no more. Feel sorry for him, but relieved for "us".

Isn’t he John Condons grandson? Would be a nice occasion for him to be picked up by the Crows.

Armchair like,
Yep, happy to be wrong.
My next prediction is not as bold:
The Panfers will win a flag before the 100 year Anniversary of their last flag.

Yep, bit of relief for the supporters on The Parade. ‘Lost’ Logan Evans to Port, who had already gone there under a ludicrous scheme anyway, but Cootee and Ling stay after some noise they may go. They would have been a big blow to NFCs 2024 chances.

That's ok for you to say, but I personally don't want Eagles raised players to play against Eagles. We have a history of most of our good players so drafted just spend their time in the wilderness of the VFL

I get it, and I agree. No one wants their current player playing against their current team later in the season.
Infact, no one here likes the mid-season draft at all. Me included.
I'm just saying on this occasion (since he got picked up anyway), it would have been nice for the player to end up at a club where his Grandad is a life member. The same as if, Casey Voss went anywhere, it would be fitting if he went to Brisbane.

Re: SANFL 2024
Any of the punters on this site want to give odds on any of the drafted players get an AFL game this year?

Re: SANFL 2024
Regarding players who've been drafted, one of the recurring snippets I've heard along the way from recruiters and player managers, is that potential draftees need a point of difference, something that makes them stand out. And, is this point of difference transferrable to the next level, or does it just make them shine at state level.
There's a heap of young lads now in the SANFL who will be very, very good state level footballers, but they just lack that X factor that separates them from the rest. It isn't a slight, by any means, it's just how it is.

Exactly we were talking about this last night at the club
The need a quality that makes them great, whether it is speed, they're 6'6"+ (2m) and clunk everything, they're are super clean with their hands, an elite kick or can run 3 min Kms consistently - and be good at the other qualities listed above.
Its why someone who was just good at all the qualities listed above is now wicketkeeping for Australia.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
