Impressive win first up, tempo against last start but ran on ok. Wide gate won’t matter as it gets back. This horse has ability IMO, nearly choked on my Cherry Ripe when Sportsbet put it up at $61 & $13

Barrier not ideal, will go back, but stable said he’s flying. Will need some luck, wide gate and speed up front, but has a prep mapped out. They think with average luck and no track bias, should be running into top 3.
They mentioned next start again, so that might be the race to jump on if you get a return today.

Pinjarra Race 5 #6, Captain Sharmane, is worth a few bob each way and could be a nice little bank builder for the weekend.

Nice first up run for 4th. First time it’s seen anything worse than Soft 7 and handled it ok. Beaten by the barrier, was a good day to be up on the pace.

Not sure what to make of Socially Sassy yesterday. Tracked the fave (and eventual winner), off the bit before the turn, jockey makes no real attempt to get off the fence out of the worst going. Track was a heavy 9 by the last race…
