How's the high jumper
Clears the 2.27? Lands with a cramp :? Then wonders off and all of a sudden gets back to where other athletes are waiting and starts limping as if he remembers he had a cramp....
Must've played soccer as a kid

Sailing abandoned due to lack of wind with only 1 leg to go.
The Aussie had the Gold wrapped up but now has to start again tomorrow

Got to be proud the way we punch above our weight, to have this many golds for a country our size is incredible.

Tom Craig is extremely lucky that he’s in Paris and not Jakarta, but even that moment of monumental stupidity won’t detract from an amazing effort by the Aussies so far in Paris.

Is "track and field" really distinguishable though?
Glynnis Nunn won the heptathlon in 1984 wich had more "field" than "track" depending on how you treat the jumps events.

(Genuinely curious, not an expert)

Yeah, track is running, field is jumping/throwing. Each is quite protective of their relevant status, too.

Not sure what category the multi events come under, Google says "track and field event", so from a technical POV, it's our first true female field gold.
