We have a heap of Indians at work and I’ve always been amazed how often they throw the whole “monkey” thing out there and use it as a derogatory term towards others.
After the Adelaide test one of them kept referring to Rohit as a fat monkey and I quizzed him on it and he said it’s used similarly to what we call someone a ****.
I’m pretty sure Isa wasn’t using it in that context though
