Why is the ICC so scared of India.

What would happen if they (ICC) called their (Indian Crickets) bluff.

Kohli fined 20% of his match payments for the bump on Konstas, but escapes penalty for being a dickhead in a public place.

Siraj was too busy getting angry and mouthing off to a 19 year old.

Akash Deep toiled hard, he hits good lines and got Carey with a good one with fhe new ball, generally he has bowled well. He should share the new ball worh Bumrah.

The footage of the “Fox Ray” is not at all complimentary to Bumrah’s bowling action. It conclusively shows him chucking the ball on delivery. The only debate is whether it’s within the ICC adjusted rules post Murali.

Politely disagree, his arm is hyperextended, which is the mechanics of his arm and elbow, rather than bent under 180 and straightened at the point of delivery (which typically is a throw if the angles are large enough). He also generates a lot of pace from his wrist.

Personally, I think those graphics are brilliant at explaining how he generates pace with only a few steps in his run up.

The ones they are showing now, the Fox Ray, does show a distinct difference between he and Deep and it does show that he is a chucker, under the original rules.

After they allowed Murali t9 throw every ball in his career it is now a free for all.

I used to be critical of Murali early on in his career, but to his credit, he allowed himself to be put under the scrutiny of science in order to (from his perspective) dispel the notion that he’s a chucker.

Unfortunately, his career will seemingly forever be questioned due to this and some will swear that his action was due to the mechanics of his arm whilst others convinced that it was blatant cheating.

With regards to all bowlers, now and in the past, it’s probably an impossible task to define a set of rules to definitively rule on what is considered a legal delivery with regards to throwing. It does however provide an endless debate!

Well done Smithy!

I think we all agree, his been out of touch and at the end of his career. This may be the last hooray but in typical Smith fashion his found a way, always managed to tweak things and eventually make it work

Well done !!

100 partnership.
Nice to see Smith show some real intent now, closing in on 10,000 runs. This is his 6th hundred at the MCG and 11th against India.
