A scope for bone bruising? That seems unusual unless they think he's done meniscus damage

Jackson Mead is ready for more responsibility so here is his chance.
Is he, though? As an outsider, I see him as always on the periphery of SANFL, what are the other options?

I absolutely think he is, we'll see how he progresses.

The options are there with a midfield of Rozee, Wines, JHF, Drew - players like SPP can swing through, as can Boak who all have experience then you've got the likes of Lorenz who has played AFL or Jackson yet to debut. You don't replace Butters but our midfield isn't our worry even with him out.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I have a friend close to the Meads, and this is absolutely the opportunity he has been looking for.

I don't think so. Jackson and Lorenz could come in onto a wing that would release Boak or Drew who tend to occupy one onto the middle.

At most Atkins may find a spot off half back but he's behind plenty back there.

They are so confident in his ability that they’re already preparing for the commentators to say ‘I can’t believe it’s not butters’ when critiquing his performance.

I’ll see myself out .

If they get all of the money they are owed then contractually they would need to

That's a big if. Any contractual obligations would have been void after GFG not paying them for so long.

Agree its a big "if" but thats going to take a while to determine, Id suggest Creditors wont know what they will get until middle/late in the year.

Its an interesting call for Port, do they write it off as a bad debt and remove their sponsorship or do they play the waiting game. If a new operator comes in and buys the business there is a chance they could get all the $ owing.
