Dogs by 4 goals.

Hopefully our forwards have learnt a bit since Round 2.

Van Wyk a big out for North

Cocks $1.75 Dogs $2 … interesting! Confirms my gut feel that this will be a stern test for the Dogs. Thought we looked top heavy in attack for the first two matches and looking at the 18 named onfield it seems the selectors thought the same. Will one of Tomkinson or Kitschke find themselves in the magoos?

CD 23.9.147 NA 11.5.71 Not sure anyone saw this coming. Are the Dogs that good or the Roosters below par? Liddy BOG for me… his trial game form was indicator of his development. Grant back to his best, Thomas influential early with opportunistic goals along with Grace and Tomkinson who fed off the early dominance. Monty a rock in defence alongside Luca who is developing into a reliable contributor. Pudney, Chisholm, Barry and Pres also in the best. Very satisfying performance and licking the lips in anticipation of an Anzac Day pummeling of Port.

Wow, didn't expect that. Wonder when we last kicked 23 goals. I was waiting for the North comeback, when they closed to 20 points at half time. All played well.

Did not see that coming! The Dogs set the game up with a dominant first quarter and didn’t really look back. North took it up to them in the second term, but the Dogs always had the answers. The second half was all Centrals as they just dominated - and had the ton up on the 3 quarter time siren. They kept the foot on the pedal in the last quarter and ran away with a big win.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Centrals play that dominantly! At no stage did they put the cue in the rack and just kept attacking all game. Hopefully we see that more often this season.

That also brings the Good Friday ledger between the two sides to 7-2 in favour of Centrals, including 4-2 at Prospect!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
