SAAFL Div 1 2008

Was a golden era in the history of Seaton with Goldy Wells, Auzzie Austin, Sleepy Annear, Chris Hunter and the toughest bloke ever seen on our oval in Mick O'Malley. Think from memory that Goldy won the Medal in the mid 70's as I think did Noel Annear. Auzzie was also a great player. If I had to pick the best though it would be Chris Hunter.

Cox is a very good player. Enjoyed watching him coming from our back half this year. Good to have him and Coardy and the King Kerls back there along with young Natty. Cox will only get better next year and hopefuly still a Ram. He has had a few clubs but most of them were League clubs and he tried his hardest to get a League game but probably not up to it. Did not get to meet him during year but was always at club on saturday nights and seemed to get on with the lads. Probably he is glad that he is out of his former environment from all accounts. Heard what went on down the road from a few of the young guys and was a bit shocked but still as we all know if you play with clubs like that you are probably going to have a few problems. Will probably find out if he is lining up when I see a trial match or the first game

Honestly Dazzler - dont think we have to go there about the morals at this stage seems like that was all sorted long ago. Dont need to hear more stuff about the mob down the road. The moral stuff was sorted last year when he was cleared to us. Probably drop it as while Coxy is with us thats great. Good footballer. Good family. No real need for getting into Sharks even though he was trying to be mischevious with his comments. Just let idiots be idiots mate

Dont know the guy personally Newman even though im a member, but seems good guy and nice family who were always at games and in clubrooms afterwards. Guessing you are another mate of Sharks who is on the Henley bandwagon and trying to slag Coxy, but as I just said to Dazzler - let idiots be idiots and no need to have a go at Coxy. Glad he is with us and not down the road with your mob

Speaking of idiots, you might want read what Newman posted before you accuse him of being from Henley.
He said 'closely associated' with you. Im guessing that means he is from the same club as you.Doh!!!

kinsman dont know if you really know much about your club you have slagged of alot about alot of people who are very closely associated with Seaton as was previously stated by Newman he is definately not on the Henley bandwagon know this for a fact

Have not slagged anyone Agent. Have been around a long while. Dont know who all you blokes are so you all have the heads up on me when it comes to talking on this site.

Two things I have said could have been taken as having a go at people and they most certainly were not.

Thought Newman was having a go at Coxy until I reaslised what was going on and a week or so ago stated that I thought the club should have high profile coach not last years Assistants and B Grade Coach. That was only an opinion and did not slag the guys off. The guys are good guys and dont want to lose either of them, so dont consider that was having a go at anyone.

You guys are more in the loop of things than us members so from now on you just tell me whats going on. I only find out whats going on by speaking to a few of my old mates at club or pub. So let you be the informative one in future.

Any more news re the appointment of ROCS new coach. Still seems like a bad vibe filtering out from there.

Yeah I heard Broadies aren't starting til January either, do they have a coach yet?
