This is a live review.

Food ordered roughly an hour ago. We hear the waitress inform 2 tables around us that there was a bit table out the back, and food is 10mins away.

The initial service was really good.
The lack of information about the delay, has more than negated that positivity.

Seafood trio and S & P squid hopefully do the job.... let's see

71mins in waiting and get told it's 3mins away

3mins became 15

No apology.

Food was absolute garbage.

Very disappointing.

Banned forever

My mate at the Rising Sun in Kensington was apoplectic when someone did a very similar Google review about them when the punters had actually been to Auburn. Not easy getting it pulled down.

Another day, he had 12 people turn up for dinner on a busy night.
He said he could put them in the back dining room
One bloke started swearing at him until his missus checked her phone & he'd booked Auburn.
She apologised - he wouldn't

After a recent trip away I've had to adjust my top 5 peppered steak pies list.

1. South Gawler Bakery
2. Two Wells Bakery
3. Yorketown Bakery
4. Yankalilla Bakery
5. Kiplings Bakery (Port Wakefield)

I feel that I've let the Port Wakefield Bakery down a little as they were ranked #4, I cheated on them and stopped in at Kiplings and they delivered well, Yorketown was so good I had to go back there the next day too while I was on the peninsula, Edithburgh is the butthole of the Yorke and doesn't have a bakery, Adrossan Bakery is rank.

The Cornish Kitchen in Moonta goes alright, Waikerie is fair, O'Connell Street and Port Elliott are a little over-rated IMO.

I'm happy to try any suburbian ones if anyone has any recommendations.

Agree with all this ^
Heading to Streaky Bay this weekend so will be stopping at Kimba for a pepper steak pie which they get in from Tumby Bay Bakery. I’ve said it before, hands down the best pie I’ve ever had. Also looking forward to a pizza from Terrace 24 in Streaky, another standout over there.

I had to umpire the 14's, 17's and B Grade one day across the road from there one day on an empty stomach and had the woft of the BBQ floating across the oval all day knowing that I'll be heading over to the bakery upon my exit.

Game finishes so I grab my bag and begin to head off, get across the road only to find that it closed at 2pm!!!!

It stays open later nowadays though.

I was doing a management course at the uni next door a few years back and on the last day we thought we'd go have a few beers there.

No shit, this chick was up on the pole upside and attempted to do the spiral thing down but she got stuck and couldn't spiral, she got going again about 3 more times but then kept getting stuck, she started freaking out a bit and the bouncers had to assist her off, it was a "had to be there moment".
