Will be an interesting challenge for Juzzy and the team.
Much tougher draw this season, playing each of the top 5 teams from 2024, while only getting 1 game against last seasons bottom 5.

The midfield group remains a concern, with a lot of pressure on Moloney and Dowrick to do the bulk of the heavy lifting, and a real lack of pace through the guts.

Hopefully Indy Tahau returns this year, was certainly a shining light in season 1.

I hate to admit it but I agree.

Tredrea was member appointed, so the cleanest way to initiate any change to his term would be via the members if such a mechanism is provided by the Constitution. This is usually achieved by the required number of members requiring a special meeting to address the matter ie. call for his position to be declared vacant or for him to vacate his seat, etc.

Anyone know how long his term is?

No it’s not that. I’ve got a slab riding on the Hawks finishing above Carlton at seasons end… my mate is all but ready to pay out too.

I look forward to drinking them in front of him . Best beers ever!

Probably could have done that after our round 1 loss to the Tigers

Kornes … When the story becomes about you, not for the first time and not about the betterment of the football club ... then that’s when your position becomes untenable.

Kane Cornes says Warren Tredrea’s position on Port Adelaide Football Club board is ‘untenable’

The outspoken footy critic has spoken out on Warren Tredrea and his spot on the Port Adelaide board, saying enough is enough.

Kane Cornes says Warren Tredrea’s position on the Port Adelaide Football Club board is “untenable”, and has urged the Power great to consider stepping away from the role.

Cornes said his former teammate – who’s come under fire after he was accused of promoting anti-semitism on his podcast – had become an unwanted “distraction” for the club.

“I don’t say this lightly because Warren is clearly a much-loved teammate of mine, premiership captain ... but right now Warren’s position on the board is untenable,” the outspoken media personality said on his SEN breakfast radio show.

“When the story becomes about you, not for the first time and not about the betterment of the football club ... then that’s when your position becomes untenable.

“He wants to go down the free-speech path and ... that is fine but that’s only fine if it’s not a distraction for the position that you hold, which is a powerful one at the Port Adelaide Football Club.”

Cornes said Tredrea had to understand that he could no longer continue in the role.

“For Warren, right now he must realise his position he on the Port Adelaide board is untenable and he’s got to come to that realisation himself otherwise the club will be doing a review ... and they will come to that realisation themselves,” he said.

Your mate must be part of the West Coast list management that chose our draft picks over Carltons. I can see Carlton losing every game from here and handing us pick 3

Talk about a pleasant Monday surprise. I wonder if the move into the midfield has been the catalyst in Miles changing his mind

Miles Bergman is set to sign a two-year contract extension at Port Adelaide, per Cal Twomey.

Very good news indeed. NWM move now has more layers.

Or potentially less layers. More draft picks / trade capital off the table for port to use.

What will they have to offer the saints?

Two firsts as a minimum and one of those would need to be top 10 IMO

We don't have any of that.

I did read somewhere you can trade 2026 - 2027 picks but can't find the article, will look later.

Any who, not sure how we get the deal done because outside of the best 22-23 we have there's not much trade value. Lord would offer something given King's injury concerns but after that there isn't much to offer and he'd only be an add on to sweeten the deal not the core of it in his current form.

That’s my point about less layers, can’t see port being a player this year on him if he wants to move. Down the track maybe, but not now if all of your trade capital chooses fo stay

I'd have said Bergman for NWM and some cherries either way was less layers, now if we want him and he wants in we'll have to be far more creative > layers. ;)
