Disgraceful decision.

The worst umpired professional sport in the world.

Pathetic umpiring. Just a disgrace that none of the four pay that as a mark or free kick to Zurhaar.

There’s definitely a different holding the ball interpretation for the stars of the game.

The Bont non call was terrible, umpire looking right at him 5m away.

Some non calls you can understand with positioning, traffic etc, but that one? Inexcusable, how do you miss that?

It’s like they’ve been brainwashed by the hype that player like Bont, Cripps etc cant possibly be caught holding the ball because they are too good.

There was a Roos mark. Clearly a mark. Original call was play on but the players all knew it was a mark and was setting up for that and then the Umpire 59m away decided to pay the mark. Would have been embarrassing for afl and umpires if everyone had seen the players taking control over decisions.

The look of guilt on Bont's face as he got up told it all. When the ump called for a ball up I swear I saw him smirk/breathe a sigh of relief

Look for Dillbags to come out this week and confirm the umpiring has never been better...

I dont see many Roos games but -
Larkey seemed very good first up, surely going to be a huge player as they improve.
McKercher got a lot of the ball but McButchered it in so many critical positions on the field, cost multiple goals.
Midfield pressure in the first 3 qtr is definitely promising
They have some bloody passionate fans in the stands and didnt the camera love it!
How did that throw in middle of ground by Simpkin? in the 2nd qtr that ended in a goal get missed!
Xerri looks to have put himself into top5 ruckmen status, despite not having the tank to go with English he did quite well.
Anyway, much more entertaining game than I was expecting.

What are Essendon doing?

Vigo Visentini had a crack in his debut in Perth against Jackson and Darcy, there's some mongrel in those Visentini lads.

They have the bye then when Gold Coast have no Witts they drop him for a 37 year old? Why?

To be fair, he'd only played a few VFL games as the lead ruck, so resting him may not be such a stretch. However, he's been omitted so I have NFI what's going on...
