The beach front in Cairns is a pile of mud!

Would rather Clifton Beach or Palm Cove....

I beg your pardon.

I will not stand by and have the lagoon full of European back packers besmirched in such a manner. Not on my watch.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

He said beachfront not artificial lagoon full of piss and shit from aforementioned European backpackers [emoji6]

Having said that we are off again to this fine tropical City in February. Rydges Esplanade Resort..... bit of a hike to the lagoon I'm told

Just got back from FNQ,
Cairns has no appeal whatsoever,
I just use the place to get off the plane, go to Apex car rentals & bugger off up Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas,
went to Daintree pub & had a croc wrap, rather tasty!
Crossed the river & saw my first ever Cassowaries in the wild, took 5 years but I did it!

This ^

Only thing to do in Cairns is the train/sky rail to/from Kuranda.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

As a 1st time visitor to FNQ, I didnt mind Cairns.
But I did prefer it up in the Daintree.
Next time will probably stay Port Douglas or palm cove
