More than harsh. No doubt his head hits the ground but the tackle was when he had the ball, front on and the player was hand balling.

Whats with our rucks this season.

First Van Dyk leaves for North because he couldnt get a game with Boyd in the side,

then Boyd gets picked up by St Kilda and Norwood sign a Sydney swans ruck only to have him pinched by the crows at the last minute,

then Surman next in line is injured for the first 7 games of the season, strings a few together and then goes down with a hammy requiring Fin to lead the ruck

then Fin gets suspended!

As I've stated before Norwood always scare me when they "just make finals"

Go a history of trauma with them (80, 84, 93, 94, 99, 22)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Norwood challenging Heards suspension.
As much as I wld prefer the suspension stays in place as a Doggie fan, I cannot see how it won't be over turned. Harsh call on a player with no track record.

They should say the sun was in his eyes, that seems to do the trick when suspended for a Finals match.

Don't forget his compelling medical history, too.

Aggressive tackle, drove player to the ground where head contacted the ground..insufficient duty of care.. what am I missing?

I reckon the only free kick that should have been paid there was for an illegal disposal.

And rightly so, too, Herbert missed over 2 months of footy as a result.

NorwoodFC has successfully challenged Finn Heard's 1-match penalty for engaging in rough conduct.
He is available to play in Sunday's Elimination Final.

Surprise surprise…

Correct decision. Good tackle, play on... a win for those who want the powers to stop sanitising our game (but a loss for us Doggie fans!)

I’m actually very shocked.
Spoke to a Norwood person today and he said the club was very confident that it would be overturned and that they had a good case. I must say that surprised me

Dogs making at least 4 changes... one forced thru injury (Chisholm).
Kobe, Presbury and Grace all return.
A third 18s player to make his debut after just one ressies game.
