This is one I’m very happy to see happen
Surely Adelaide don't need him?
Why are you happy to see him go?
5-6 years at $900k for a bloke who has never finished top 10 at a shit Essendon side and is coming off a bad Achilles injury.
Young Visentini is still a year or two away but developing nicely and hopefully Bryan comes back fitter and stronger. If we can turn Drapers compo into a Schubert or Marsh I’ll be happy

He won’t get anywhere near that if he comes to Adelaide
He’ll be in Brisbane with Oscar Mc retiring

Draper ain’t Tex
IQ is similar but nothing else
Gee that’s tough on Tex
1000%, Tex's footy IQ is off the charts, don't think Draper's even registers. Any other IQ is irrelevant
I'm with Jim, he's damaged goods, and never played up to his potential. he'd get in the way of Thilthorpe if he played as a forward.
Not to mention that unless he is full of it he has demanded to be the lead ruckman and doesn’t like resting forward. I honestly think ROB is a better ruck and strange decision to extend his contract by 3 years if you are bringing in Draper
I'm with you on ROB, Draper jumps when he should wrestle, and wrestles when he should jump. Bryan showed he was clearly the better ruck of the two this year before going down with a knee, a pairing of Nick & Vigo excites me a helluva lot more than 5 more years of Draper.
It's going to be the Temu version of Gawn & Grundy if the Crows run with ROB & Draper. Brisbane makes way more sense.

Vigo is an absolute pup in terms of development, turns 20 this Friday. Give him a couple of years to build a real solid base and he'll be very bloody handy.
Both Visentini boys are the future as far as rucks go for Port & Essendon (Matilda Scholz excluded )

Gold Coasts David Swallow and Sean Lemmens will retire at seasons end.
And with that, to my knowledge, the last Port Adelaide SANFL junior departs the AFL. Lemmens, from Salisbury through the Magpies, was drafted in 2013 at pick 27.
