Goldy had to be talked into playing this year, he doesn’t have another season in him.gadj1976 wrote:Brodlach wrote:Goldstein and Laverde delisted by the Bombers.
Woh! Hold the boat. No Goldy and no Draper. Wow. And Laverde. Another one, like Carlton who delist players that other clubs will pick up for free. NUTS!

Would be the 7th 30+ year old on the list. ( If Walker plays on )

Bryan will be our number 1 provided he gets over his ACL injury and I love the look of young Vigo and think he can be our number 1 within a couple of years.Lightning McQueen wrote:gadj1976 wrote:Brodlach wrote:Goldstein and Laverde delisted by the Bombers.

Rucks are over-rated.

He mentioned that when he was at the Suns, they had a ton of first year players and obviously that made it hard to get to 1000 games, let alone 3000.
The problem with Free Agency is that players like Draper/Curnow/Laverde/Allen/Ridley etc etc walking to the top clubs, is that the top clubs keep topping up and the bottom clubs get draft picks. So say each of those players is 150-200 games, the top clubs get that game experience and the bottom clubs get 0 worth of game experience.
It's an interesting thought by McKenna and worthwhile keeping in mind in the future to see how many teams can challenge the Lions/Cats when they clearly are getting better experience each year and the bottom clubs can't.
