I take that was a big fat no!

Got one from the caravan and camping show last year, it was cheap as and works a treat the Mrs Cryovac seals all kinds of shit when we go away meats, gravy all sorts. It comes with about 20 bags with a valve on them for extracting the air out.

IF I remember, I'll look what brand it is.

All good now, went to Costco yesterday and bought one, does the trick and came with a heap of bags etc. I purchased a box of extra bags and film too.

I had a 5kg whole scotch fillet that I need to cut into steaks, I wanted to ensure that they get frozen properly.

Got one years ago at Harvey Norman.
Think it was just branded Food Saver
Worked a treat
I have a food saver and I recommend it. Sometimes I have an issue with getting a good seal on soups and casseroles and the like, but find if I freeze them in a container first then seal in the bag a day or so later I get a good seal. Bought bulk rolls online for value. Fantastic for camping trips, food seems to keep for a long time.

Well, funnily enough, no.

What has happened to comedy in Australia?

I look at the UK, in particular, with shows like 8 out of 10 Cats, Task Master, Last One Laughing etc and think of the talent they have there. Carr, Lock (RIP), Davies, Mortimer, Wilkinson, Beckett, Ayoade, Mitchell, Mack, Bailey, Flannagan, O'Brien the list goes on and on then you look at Australian comedy acts, we're quite pathetic in comparison.

Watching Overton impersonating a cricketer is funny, watching him giving it to the batter after he just clubbed him over point for a 6 was even funnier. Although we can't claim him.

Had an employee message me this morning advising me to check on another employee as they didn't seem to well. I went and done a quick welfare check and the employee told me that she wasn't feeling too well when I asked her. I asked if she needed to go home and she replied "Yes, if it alright".

I asked if she could give me 5 minutes to see what skill sets I had on site, who I could steal from other areas and who I could potentially get to come in early.

A couple of people said "why would she come in if she wasn't feeling well!

I think it's admirable for her to still front up, others think it's foolish, thoughts anyone?

Yeah, she wasn't coughing etc. so I thought she done the right thing.

I messaged her to make sure sher got home alright and then reminded her to not be worried having to inform me if she's unwell.

She is a casual on the brink of going on permanent.

If she's "COVID" type sick then I'd suggest, we tell our staff, err on the side of staying away but we have no issues if people show up and we can make a call like you did.
