Really like the list that South is building, those recruits are excellent plus the maturity developing in the existing younger group coming through the grades over the past years all looks good for possible top four finish. HOWEVER...then comes the AFL mid season draft, kiss it all goodbye.

Agreed unless the Crows are still in the mix come AFL prelim weekend it which case they will have a greater incentive to perform. For the record i don't have the Crows in the AFL final four in 2026.

Having worked at the Bays, Dogs and North i always want those 3 to do well but as a neutral i would love to see South make some inroads this year and find themselves in the mix when the whips are cracking. The only SANFL team i have not seen win a flag in my life time and not sure that i will.
