The South Australian Political Landscape

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

I'll be equally surprised if the Libs actually make it work for them, they don't get things right very often so this is a test for their spin machine to come up with something and make ground.

It won't cost him the election but it might swing a seat or two ( Adelaide in particular ).
Labor will hold power for as long as they want.
I did see that the author is looking to sue Mali though

Correct, and opportunity for the libs to go after something, but I note Hurn and Flint have both already come out in support of Mali, so clear they aren't going down that path.

IMO most people didn't know, it and dont give rats tossbag, about it

It looks like Mali got it wrong that the bloke last year was told not to come but that's not the point
Abdel-Fattah did push a letter saying he should be banned
She has also written some pretty awful anti-semetic sh!te
Funny how all these people have such high morals when the shoe is on the other foot

Good on Mali for taking a stance on it all. He will get plaudits from people who wouldn't normally be his backeers

One good thing is Jane Caro and Peter Fitzpirate aren't coming to SA

Relax Boon

I doubt this issue will even be occupying one neural synapse of 99.9% of the SA voting population come February.

I have had a quiet chuckle over Mali and Albo falling over themselves to preserve their public perceptions in the wake of Bondi.

Pauls Keatings quote of "A shiver looking for a spine to run up" applies to both of them

Oops

The Adelaide festival has reinstated its invitation to Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah to Adelaide writers' week and issued an unreserved apology amid the firestorm over the decision to remove her from its program
