Djokovic pulls off a miracle and is into the final, after being 2 sets to 1 down.

Much respect, don’t ever doubt him.

Alcaraz showed great maturity and smarts to not panic and slowly work his body back. He could have easily still won the 3rd as Zverev was too busy losing his cool to knuckle down and concentrate, then Alcaraz showed his class by, as in his own words, just believing in himself, to win the last 4 games to win the match.

Not the first time Zverev has blown an opportunity staring right at him, nevertheless he tried his absolute guts out but is just an edge away from the elite in the mental toughness stakes.

Zverev was very gracious at the net to congratulate Alcaraz, and in his after match presser he spoke really well and was very honest. I hope he can go that little step further as he has been knocking in the door for a while now, having lost 3 grand slam finals.

I think Sinner wins in 3 or 4 tonight, with Sunday too hard to call for me if it is Sinner and Alcaraz.

Zverez was well in his rights to complain.
If he lost in straight sets he aint complaining because he was outplayed before cramp set in.
And yes, Zverez should have won but rules are rules depending on who you are.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Didn’t say he wasn’t right, just that he let it get to him. :D

But the way, looks like you got some shit on your shoe. ;)

Djokovic was unbelievable last night, dug deeper than most people (including me) thought he could at the tail of his career, made the very most of his fortunate get out of gaol against Musetti, but as he indicated in his on court interview, might have played his final last night and may not have any more in the tank to backup on Sunday.

Hope it goes to an epic 5 sets, but suspect that Alcaraz will get the job done relatively quickly.
