Yep, losing the quality players that we have in the past 12 months is killing us.
McCormack, Dudley, Dittmar, McLennan, Montgomery, Callinan, Adams, Cochrane, Sharp etc etc etc.
leaves a huge hole.
We might start getting better later in the season but I can't see us playing finals footy this year.

Meanwhile we have Josh Fahey and possibly Saunders as our only decent replacements.

And a 207cm ruckman recruited from Victoria who is now playing for Salisbury North. And today the Hawks announce Louie McLennan (a definite league player IMO) will also play for them.

Gerring playing B grade for Salisbury North, why recruit if not playing at your club.
Another ruckman a similar height we recruited playing for Golden Grove B grade.
The club is going backwards,it can't all just be bad luck.

We’re not that far off in fairness. A few skill errors from players who normally can be relied upon probably the difference between having a couple of wins on the board. Granted the last quarter fade-outs are a concern .. but is that more a mindset/confidence issue rather than fitness?
Sundays match against an under strength Panther outfit will be intriguing.
Haven’t seen enough of young Wills to see what he brings to the table and expecting East to be rewarded for consistent early season form with a recall.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

In McCarty Wills

Out : Mohail smith

How is East not in the side. How does Reed and Tattoli keep getting selected after contributing nothing

Yeah but feel they didn’t get value on the scoreboard due to the all too familiar unforced errors costing turnovers.

Certainly having a crack though

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Skill errors and turnovers killing the Dogs.. cost at least 2 goals in that 2nd qtr.

Panthers also benefited from 3 frees deep in the forward line all which looked dodgy by my biased eyes..

No doubt though South playing a more direct style and making the most out of their opportunities
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

These umpires are pathetic. South would be loving the bald umpire.

Looking at the score, think you have more to woory about than the umpires performance

Yeah, we're below average, but 21 frees to 11 isn't helping (especially inside their 50).
