Been talking to a mate of mine recently about this. Back in the old days, when only 2 games were televised/highlights package, Ch7 or the ABC picked the best two games. So I suggest the sludge was already there and has kept it's sludgy-ness but now because there are 99% of games as a stand alone, it's highlighted their ineptness even moreso!

I have made you all thousands of dollars this season already, tonight I think Cripps to kick a goal at $3 is worth a lazy $20k. I think he is likely to spend a lot of time forward with Hewett back and surely the Lions defence will fall asleep once they are 15 goals up in the 3rd quarter.
