Eastern Park v Athelstone (Good side all over the park)
Salisbury v Pooraka (Bias)
Old Ignatians v Prince Alfred OC (Something is wrong down at the Havelock...)
Payneham NU v Flinders Park (Hard to read these two, went with the home ground)
Walkerville v Pembroke OS (Pembroke haven't missed a beat since last year)

If that's Coghill, yes, he is a pretty handy player. Played most of last year at CHF. Didn't think he was playing this year, but obviously he is.

In the paper it had Lee Coghill kicking 8, so I assume it was him.

Another thing, I heard Brett Smid, Walkerville's Full Forward, wasn't playing this year. Was heading down to Mt Gambier to play. Was surprised to see him named in the paper as kicking a few goals.

Was he playing one last game for the Cats before heading down to Mt Gambier for their season opener?

Last year our CHB kept Coghill to one mark and one goal down at Lindblom, went on to win our B&F. He injured himself at Pembroke last week and he's out for a month so we've got a bit of reshuffling to do to work out who's gonna get him. We know how he plays so I'm sure the men in charge will come up with something, that's what they get paid to do.

They are, any win at Eastern Park is a good one, but a 100 point win at Eastern Park is pretty impressive.

Anyone know what's happened to Flinders Park?

I think Eastern Park may be slowly on the slide now, lots of problems off field and for the 1st time in years couldnt get a D grade team in.

Just read that Jarrod and Ryan Byrne are playing for for CYC on the Yorke Penninsula. So after losing Thredgold and Geddes, plus those two, it starts to become a bit clearer why PAOC are 0-2...

SAAFL footy is alive and well with a massive crowd turning up to watch the Raggies play Payneham NU. And they wouldn't have left diappointed either, with a cracker of a game. PNU came out firing early to lead 8 goals to 1 at quarter time but the Raggies fought back well to be just in front at 3 quarter time. PNU finished off better in a very close finish (the 9 point difference was due to a goal to PNU after the siren).

The crowd estmate was 1000+ with many Raggies stalwarts saying they hadn't seen a crowd like that at Raggiesland for a long long time.

Absolutely, havent seen a game that good at ANY level in a long time, the battle of the Staggs turned out to be a real treat. we looked a bit shaky in the 3rd quarter, but came out with the goods in the end...looking forward to the return bout
