Another question, was F.L Archer a North registered player, or a Norwood player?

Ah! I missed him off my list. He is a North registered player - 2 games and 1 goal in 1942.(Round 5 vs PA-WT at Alberton; Round 6 vs St-SA at Unley)

I have Byron Ranger as playing 3 games in 1945, I assume from annual report. Also where do you fit Bill Isaac in the war period- Norwood or North.
A Hill and A Stone don't appear on Norwood book.

Would it be best to move the Torrens-Port and Port-Torrens players to those threads?, it will start to look a bit messy on here with other clubs players listed here as well.

Good idea. also Port-Torrens records are documented in Storer's book page 345 ( although not all my game tallies or affiliation to club are identical.) Could be whether 19 th man is counted.

William Mackay is Jack Mackay (also played for South)
Nick Egan 2 games in 2003
Richard Boyley or Richard Bayley 1924
Phil Lounder played for NA and CD His brother played for CD and then went to VFL.
Grundy only for Norwood and now Sydney.
Davis recriuted by Sydney from North's country zone.
Reedman and Earl as explained.

Leaping Lindner is the man to trust on all things North Adelaide.
One other thing LL, the 1952 NA premiership book has Stanley C Hancock as 1946-53 88 games 4 goals. He was "Wagga'. Was he the same Stan Hancock that played in the war years.

I've copied and pasted them to the clubs threads, and if you like, do that to the other four clubs threads - West, Glenelg, Sturt and South.

Yep it's the same bloke. He played for N-NA in 42,43 and 44. He missed 1945 with North and then played again in 1946. I think he was overseas on active duty in 1945 but would have to check.

Mark Hollitt debuted in 1994, not sure his last year, but he was there in 1999.

Tom Sandery was at North in 1974, that's all I know.

It must be that they are known as Mark and Tom, but their actual names are Malcolm and John.
