My guess is if Mods plays he will play at EB. He is definitely a great club man and seems a very loyal bloke. His good mates and friends are heavily involved with the club and even if he did have a problem with the coach, he would still play there to help out the club and his mates (who are also sponsors!)

Yes, congrats Micky,

I hear that at the birth young Bernie Conlan cut his own cord, punched out 100 1 arm push ups and asked to be directed to the nearest gym.

Hey Way Down South if i remember correct your tired up with compass whats been going on out their? All the talk on here and around the grounds is that you have lost some players with out picking any up, is this the case? It will not be good to see you guys go from being a up coming force last season to slip down this season lets hope you guys are keeping your cards close to your chest and you have some good things happening on the low!

One things for sure, the Creeks are keeping their cards very close to their chest and not many will know whats going on until its published in the paper.

Any names of 'big players' for Strath

Strong local rumour that Scott Freebourn will be taking the Yank pre-season and will be tied in some way to the club in 08.

Wasn't Ben Warren a Creeks player already meaning he does not need to re-sign? He is currently re-signed to his contract at South for 08 and therefor would only play for the Creek if released I was told this by a South official while doing a spot of fishing in normy.

The creeks will always keep things under wraps dont you worry about that, they have movements going on and no doubt have picked up a couple, with out King it will be hard but on the other hand it could well be a good thing for the coaching staff as the players will not be so "one dimensional" when going forward.

I think you will find that they mean with Ben Warren sighning back at the creek they mean he was going to play full time with them in 2008 on a player contract and not have anything to do with south adelaide. He is still a registered player with the creeks and would be a 1 point player to them and i believe they threw everything that they had at him up to the point were he told all players and club officials he was returning only to have south offer a huge amount of $$$ at the last minute that he went for.

Saints have had 2 trainings (Monday and Wednesday). Numbers were probably a bit disappointing compared to the non compulsory sessions before Christmas. Before Christmas we had 32+, this week probably 26-28 on each night. Our biggest excuse is the guys working down the coorong cockling, they are not avavilable and there are some blokes who overseas.

Thats a very good turn out for the bays, their must have been a few new faces for them to have those types of numbers. Anyone know who the new faces may have been?
Saints pre season numbers from memory are always up and down with guys that cockle and play bball and cricket. Correct me if i am wrong LF, this is just what i was told a few years ago.

you are spot on Kappars. I guess that although 26 blokes out is not real flash, we have seen 53 different faces out over the course of the non compulsory trainings, so I would think that once January is out of the way the numbers will increase.
