Stirling and Baskets lose outright on the weekend...pretty easy it seems, raises the point should a team that loses outright lose points? as there really is no penalty for losing outright....

i would also go as far to say that the red caps and baskets are better than happy valley, theyre average.

Hills obviously had the better side on paper, especially in the bowling department... I dont doubt if Hills played to there ability as TV did on the day Hills would of been the winner... But thats why we play isnt because it only takes 10 balls to bowl a side out no matter how good the bowling. I think the results also suprised some TV players... I think you will find that it was just one of those days in cricket.
Good call about the Courier Cup games both should be very good games and i will be travelling out to have a look. Probably the Lobey game i think.

Cricket Fan wrote:Yes Hills were beaten i agree and im not arguing with that at all but saying they having a better batting line up is stupid as saying they have 2 quality spinners compared with ours is stupid 2. Ryan Hunter has played SA Country as a Spinner and Batsman and he is a class above your 2 spinners on his day. Rohan Reid is also a SA Country batsman and Anthony Prior as a bowler is SA Country Bowler, along with Galvin who has played A & B grade at Sturt. None of those players got there without ability. Yes King and Hackett are quality bats but once these guys got out on Monday i think i read in the paper you lost 4/2 so is this any different to what the Hills did on Saturday not really, so they are not that much better are they???
