'Lots of kids' was what I was told, the coach is worried about this but if the club can back him in 08 and he has to play kids then the club will be better off than most in 09 and 10 for sure. Its worrying times with regard to retaining seniors maybe but in the long term if they are not in it for the club stuff em.

Fair point on the better for the future FM!
only thing is Pongy's junior retention has never been a high percentage either which is probably the biggest of concerns.

To be honest I dont know much about Pongy other than hearing they love to get on the gas which Princi cant handle, the poor bastard plastered and being taken advantage of after 2 drinks. The thing is with Princi in place more and more kids will hang around and even come to the club as opportunities will be plenty, he relates well to them and is confident when giving instruction, I am interested to see how he goes in coaching the older players.

Bloody Princi, every time we stopped the bus for the footy trip last year he had to get out and empty his bucket of spew. Then he would come bolting/staggering at a fast pace back to the bus afraid we were going to leave him behind, banging on the window 'let me in guys' - the thing was he was always the one who was first back to the bus. All this and we hadnt even reached naracoorte - ON OUR WAY THERE!

What sort of numbers are around at the different clubs for training. Heard differing reports. Willunga 45 plus, if that is true that is incredible and 7 at the Bay on Tuesday?

Saints 20-26 on Mondays 35 + on Wednesdays, when players who live in Adelaide come down. All up I think we have had 55 different blokes out at some stage.

Langford is safe. Finished 9th in Willunga's B&F in 07 with very limited opportunities.

Dont know a heap about Pudney LF, but I know he is fairly injury prone. Hopefully he can play some good footy for the Saints, as Ive been led to believe he was on Richmond's rookie list some years ago.

Time for the Bays to work on their locals and get them out rather than rely on recruits each year. Over the years they have had some fantastic colts teams. Stath are getting good numbers on the track and there is an air of excitement at the Roosters. Heard Victor getting mid-20s including Hodge, Compass 30+, anyone know about Yank, Creek, McLaren.

The Bays are doing alright numbers wise and are concentrating heavily on locals, to date only one new recruit with four outs from 07 and the rest all returning. Bays to date have seen 60 different players including snr colts with the worst attendance night being 27 to date.
The locals will faeture heavily in the Bays line up from round 1.
