They reckon you are a good guy and passionate about your club, they reckon you would do anything to help out when it comes to doing some work around the place.
But
They reckon you have limited ability and hopefully shut up, as you are placing a huge burden upon all of the people mentioned above, let alone the Coach, who is trying to keep everything under wraps and without any great fan fare. Ocker just wants to ease into the season without having anyone putting pressure on all of the above - for obvious reasons.
Now Andy that is not being rude, but constructive criticisim from the people at Kilburn. They just want you to shut up. They hoped to sneak under the radar, but gee with Andy around how the hell could they do that.
Sadly, you are the only one who cant see it. Newman, Buzz, No Mercy, Me and the whole Myriad of people on here are not having a personal shot at you, just learn some discretion and learn when its best to open your mouth. This year you will have lots of time to open it from what I hear. Your game starts at 12.15am and then you can watch the A Grade and cheer them on.
Kilburn people are just wanting you to put a sock in it so they have some chance of surprise. Im backing Flinders Park personally, as unlike you no-one has said nothing, they have picked up heeps and have a fantastic coach in Sean Jackson. Jackson is surely better than half of the field going around in A1 (in the coaching stakes), and should be still at that level
Here you go mate Flinders pk have picked up Matt Kluzek and Nick pesch is a player only and Darren Holland is rumoured to be playing after having run in with Henley.
Thats what im talkin aboooouuuut!!!!!!

Is there any chance Old Ignatians can have our name spelt correctly in the options? Or is that a really, really subtle sledge?

Re: SAAFL Div 3 2008
No probs. I thought it might have been another Kilburn plot. Pretty much the entire thread has been about Kilburn this and Kilburn that, so I was wondering if they were trying to rattle us by insinuating that poncy college boys were unable to spell. I'd be pretty offended by that, whereas an honest mistake is no problem.

Flinders Park have picked up Ben Dyda from Virginia and pinched Jai Collins and Alby Nicholls from us.

I would doubt very much they are. Under this new system, the SAAFL will not register any player that has been suspended for 12 weeks or more since 2005.
That counts out all 3 of them...
The club can appeal against this apparently and pay a "bond" (like a bail amount) for each player, which is lost if the player is suspended again.

Thing about Salisbury West is they have a great deal of confidence in their coach it would seem, players around the club have played above themselves in recent years. May have lost more than they have gained.

The Salisbury West Football Club has earnt no respect from all opposition clubs, players & supporters which is no surprise to us all.
Players in the calibre of the Creeks are not needed in our game as they have shown no respect to anyone even their own club with their undiscipline acts on the field.
I say the club should toughen up, earn respect, by p!ssing these ferals off & enforce some tough rules to all players that want to play football at their club & follow through with it.
If they were to do that they'd slowly start to earn the respect back from the public ( opposition ).
If things dont change theirs going to be alot of disappointed up'ncoming juniors let down, as the club will close & their goals they set to play A grade football at the club will be deminished.

One got suspended for a whole season, so didn't play in 2006. Played 5 games in 2007, belted someone and got another 10 or 12 games..not that I condone violence but it was funny to see him get taken out in the final they played against Walkies last year..
No Mercy, it wont matter that these 3 are gone, because there are another set of brothers (whose names escape me... Ryder is the surname I think) who are just as bad...not sure of their tribunal records though..
It's a shame becuase there are some genuine good players at SW (like Lukey Curtis) who would no doubt get pretty pissed off with missed opportunities for success because of these turkeys..
