I have spoken to socky & he went out to his first training session last week at athelstone saying the reason behind moving back is because of travelling & now living in the city. To far to go.
i think there is a few more reasons behind it as well cruiz9... cos he was at training with nairne til last week.. do you know if he will get paid at the raggies??

he is my best mate and half the reason he went too nairne is because i was playing there and he got offered more $$..
i was just asking because he has come out so late in the pre season and hes only been to one training i didnt know wether rags would of organised that already..

the facts are andrew doesnt even know if he is getting paid yet, and schimma obviously knows different. i was just trying too find out.

He did say nairne gave him a pay cut in $$$ & i wouldnt think raggies would offer him much if anything probally a drink voucher.
schimma - you think every player at raggie land gets paid big coin - I have been wrong in the past with these new recruits in 2008 but i wouldnt thing socky would be on anything. He miles well stay at nairne - what was his form like up there in that league. Div 2 is different to div 3 do you think socky will do well.
he had a bad year last year... i think because the footy up in the hills is a lot more scrappy in and under stuff.. whereas in div3 or div 2 its a lot more free flowing fast paced footy which he does really well at cos of his pace and skills.. i think he will do really well.. been keeping ft playing gaelic in off season too so should be pretty good.. he is definately playing for raggies.
