Wattle, it's not a matter of not rating those guys, it's more of an inside knowledge about how they can 'dismantle' a club. it appears that every club they've been to, there is mayhem the following year. Just ask Wingfield & Gepps Cross.

Rupert my boy you might want to get your facts straight. None of these guys have ever played at Gepps Cross and I know for a fact that they left Ovies a couple of years ago because of the simple fact that there was only 6 blokes on the track a month into pre season.
The reason everyone lert Wingfield last year was because of the unwelcome dickheads (who wernt players or members) who used to frequent the club on Saturday nights and spoil it for everyone.

Well said and spot on the mark,I think chris did bring a few from gepps x to wingies and so on but you are right klompy,dave,barry,roger,levi,damien and ryan all played for ovingham before and are returning to the club and we all no the standed of the wingfield surporters

Do you think heather will come back to the club and just be a surporter? was seen and heard yelling for ovies on sat,would be a shame after all them years if she didnt just sallow her pride and still get on board as a member/surporter of the club in 08,her son still plays out there

It would be good to have Heather back, shes been a great and loyal member of Ovingham football club for probably more years that most of us have been alive and it is a shame that things have turned the way they have this year. Her son locky is the club president this year and Im sure he would also love to have her back.

I think there are quite a few C graders out there, due to club depth, who would walk into any other clubs B grade...

if only ovingham could get a b grade - then they'd be in div 7 and the situation of having lower grade c grade teams play a grade sides would not be happening.

What mayhem are you talking about Rupert. As far as I am aware Gepps Cross still has 3 teams and are going strong. The reasons everyone left Wingfield last year had nothing to do with the "gypsy" coach. Mayby you should do a bit of homework yourself before you go sprouting crap.
