Looking forward to seeing the great Biglands in action. Just be ready for a big rev-up from the crowd in the clubroom pocket. I think Tom 'Boof' Hoare will do just fine in his normal role rather than tagging the new Mail Medal favourite. Full credit to Boof though. He is still a big unit but has lost around 20 kilos in the last 2 years to become one of Brighton's key players.

Ignore it lads. I think it's his lost lover trying to blow his trumpet.
Bighlands isn't even playing A grade this week as did not rock up to a compulsory training on Tuesday night.
Is a great hard player but I'd be very surprised if he polls at all on Medal night. Nice try Hog Head.
Maybe you should talk up kouta he's the one you should look out for

Id like to hear from Fisho McSpaz on this one???

LOL Liam Shrive. Was the quietest of lads when at Morphies and would rarely hang out with the lads, except for about 2 days each season. One of these days was always Mad Monday when he would get loooooose and it was always a site to behold! I have a memory of seeing him playing his leg like a guitar and screaming the lyrics to his favourite song All Fired Up (Pat Benatar) on a Mad Monday at about 10am in the morning, gold!

LOL, sorry to disappoint, Twisties, but I didn't stick around that night. Haven't seen Shrive on the dance floor to date but he'll have to go a long way to beat Dave Agnew in his white trousers.

What's this about funny stories coming out of Shark Park anyway? We're a quiet bunch. The nude runs, the 440ml Cougars flowing through the beer bong, the dancing... I rest my case.

BTW, I won't be around for the Aldinga/Brighton game, so best of luck to the Sharks. If that baldheaded field ump from the Porties game is there, give him a kick for me.

Injury has made the team be alot lower than there capabilities. Althought they will need 5 or so players to come back to win (which i dont think will happen, maybe lion heart can confirm) im gonna say cove by 5 - 10 by a last 1/4 blow out.

Nah sorry to say Hills things going from bad to worse in the injury stakes down at the den. Our best player this year Schultz is another addition to the injury list and 2 guys going over seas this week...

Your little bro is starting in the forward pocket this week and seems to be growing in confidence with each game. And what about the 'big show' Sam Kelly 16 years old and our tallest player. The lions future could rest in these two 16 year olds hands. Looking like possible future guns.

Rumour is - some mixed news ahead for the flies, heading into the second half of the year. Big shane smith is said to be moving back to Adelaide and back to his successful centre half back role. And Scotty Middleton is slowing down (work commitments) and is looking a playing out the most of the season in the B's with his brother. Look out all other SFL B graders, with those two boys on the wings, fastest around.
Im sure S. Middles will be back after an impressive A grade career thus far. Can anyone confirm this??

Tips for this week- Pretty easy round, with Porties and Flaggies the game of the round, followed closely by Christies v the Twisties

Southern Hawks vs Morphett Vale
Reynella vs Noarlunga
Port Noarlunga vs Flagstaff Hill
Lonsdale vs Cove
Happy Valley vs Marion
Christies Beach vs M.V Park

Dont think the Log impressed to much when he returned last year. Not wanting to start another reynella bagging session but from an outsiders point view i think it may have unsettled them last year.

If that is true about Scott Middleton then that is a loss for the wineys. Both of those boys can certainly play. how come Jase is only playing 2's? Was in the association side a couple of seasons ago. Top bloke as well.

the reason they will be playing 2's is there decision. Due to work committments they are unable to committ to training and have decided that this is the best path to take at the moment.

At Flaggies our A grade side has an average age of around 21, with a majority of these players coming through from the juniors in recent years. What we do lack, apart from the big bodies, is mature age footballers. We currently only have 4 players above the age of 23. I think most people will agree that your best footy is played between the ages of 24, 25 to about 28, so hopefully in the next few years we will find ourselves in a position to challenge these more powerful clubs.
