So who kicked the goals for the Shoes? I thought the Shoe forward line looked fairly undermanned when we played them a few weeks back.

Fly/AFLFlyer/EFC whats the vibe down at Reynella? Definately not writing them off as they have some quality players and will obviously still make the finals, but the teams not getting the results and Reynella stalwarts like the Middleton's and Threadgold's are choosing to play in the 2nds, it all seems a bit odd!

Matty Despott kicked 8 Tasker kicked 3 and took mark of the year and the rotating rovers all chipped in? When we played you Tasker was playing well on Smith untill late in the first when he went to hospital with an ugly finger.

Hello cheese twisties. The ? as to why some people are CHOOSING to play B grade can be answered with the only coice they are making is to not train twice a week or cant commit to training, if you cant do that well play B's.

Remember its a marathon not a sprint

How well was last years Melbourne cup winner travelling before the Melb cup from memory 0008.
I still backed it for plenty.

Interesting theory efc...i dare you to double-up on the Wineflys winning the flag...

Glad to hear there is still a punter at Reynella though...

In MVFC Vs RFC games gone by, Reynella supporters always used to get a collection together against morphies supporters who would match whatever was raised, and the victors would get the chocolates...wineflys have stopped collecting now much to the disappointment of the morphies supporters who always used to match the wineflys amount no matter where the two teams stood on the ladder, and irrespective of form...maybe you can get this tradition back on track efc?

Well done to Noarlunga knocking off Reynella, anyone at this game to give us a review?

Also good efforts from Marion and Lonsdale, getting fairly close to more fancied opposition.

Saw this Blake Mosar for Hackham and yes he looks a talent, very good over head. Would have liked to see him stand Pollard at some stage tho. But poor form from a group of the Hackham spectators who took player abuse too far and tried to accost one of our players by taking the field, no need for that!

Murray Mallee Border Barossa won the carnival .
Centrals (lost 2 leagues and still made the final)
South East
Southern
Eyre
Northern

Southern were very flat on Sunday, South East winning the 3/4 play off fairly handily

Also from Southern Ty Habner (Hills) in the team of the championships and the state squad
Mitch Portlock in the state squad
Barry Pilmore assistant coach of the state team
Mark McKay trainer with the state team

Good to see Mark getting a gig with the state team. Works his arse off every weekend to make sure the players are looked after, not just for Lonsdale but for SFL rep sides and others as well. Keep up the good work Mark, its people like you who keep clubs/teams on the park week in week out.

Have to say was pretty surprised at the Christies score?
Any thing to say morphies magic? I would have thought your mob were almost a sure thing with how much you have improved. 10 goals...it's been an interesting year.
And did Reynella play that bad or were Noarlunga that good? Reynella were very efficient against us and quite surprised at that result too.

Anyone heard anything on this?

Reynella have started grooming a new coach in case Dave Evans leaves. This is common knowledge around Reynella after the Morphett Vale committee have put an offer to Evans to replace Steve Hill at the seasons end. An offer that Big Dave can't refuse. An interview/meeting between the two parties is scheduled after the two teams face off in a couple of weeks. Apparantly Dave as indicated that he would like an inside source as his assistant, at this stage it appears Brad Carpenter is his number one pick.

Think you'll find no offers have been made yet IP but nice try. I think I can safely say that Evans wouldn't be anyone they'd be interested in.

Pretty convincing win for Port last Saturday --- makes eight in a row for them.
What happened to your blokes Mattee ? Down 13 to 4 at three-quarter time in a pretty vital match. Was this your worst game for the year, or were Port that good ?

Will you be hiding in your kennel at the next Emu's/Flys game Hound? Get off the leash and come down for a beer, i'm sure your bark is worse than your bite!

ZC how do you know that no offers have been made. Obviously things could fall apart at the meeting, safely to say. Do the playing group at Morphett Vale make those initial decisions of who to approach aswell? I guess if no offer has been made, the coaching apprenticeship that has gone approximately 47 seasons by Bobby Lloyd has been a waste of time. Somehow, based on my chats with Dave, I get the impression he dislikes Morphett Vale as much as you like to stir the pot mate, so lets move on. When you stop making up stories about other clubs then I guess I will do my part and stop wasting Big Red Delicious's precious time.
