Shoe-Boy, plenty of cover at Cove these days with the Oval bar and pergola where the old coaches box was. Hopefully it will be a dry day though and good footy.

Well i am going on results from 2 weeks ago when ya beat Reynella handsomely, and reckon there on the improve...Although you were blown away early by Brighton last week. I spose Shoe boy you could tell me if its there first test for awhile... I rate Noarlunga no matter where there positioned can always expect a hard game even tho the scoreboard may not reflect it....

Not a great fan of Noarlunga, however i have never played on it so commenting from a distance,
I think Aldinga has a good oval to, Flagstaff and Brighton ovals this time of year...No thanks....
Looking forward to the Shoes and the Cobras this week.... Cove's first test for about 6 - 7 weeks and after this they finish with Flaggies, Porties, Brighton, Reynella, Morphett Vale. Will be interesting to see how they stand up leadng into the finals.

You must be kidding about Flaggies, Jono!! We would have the best drainage in the league (based on the same format as Footy Park) and you would be hard pressed to find a wet spot or any mud. If you ask any of the Reynella boys about the state of our oval after all the rain we have had, i think you'll find they'll all give it the thumbs up.

I think most you guys are living in the past! I agree that our oval used to be sh*thouse, but it is far from that these days. To rank it below Morphy Parks and Brighton is a disgrace.

Anyway, instead of just having a go ill float my opinion.

1. Noarlunga: Easily the best
2. Porties: No cover for the spectators but good size and surface.
3. Hackham: Great oval for footy. Lots of space
4. Dingys: Good coverage and a nice shape for footy.
5. Marion: Bit long but nice surface.
6. Chrisites: Apart for the wind, nice, big oval.
7. Flaggies: Improved greatly over the past few years.
8. Reynella: Nice size, not a bad surface.
9. Happy Valley: Nice oval to play at under lights. Nice size.
10. Brighton: Cricket pitch ruins it.
11. Cove: Postage Stamp
12.Morphett Vale: Too small and uneven surface.
13. Morphy Parks: Terrible shape.
14. Lonsdale: No fence and massive cracks.

Feel free to have a crack

Flaggies is a shocker. Good that they have fixed up the drainage but there never seems to be much atmosphere there and if you sit / stand near the club rooms you cant see a third of the field as the view is blocked by the coaches box.

fly... I would say about 95% of the time I have posted facts about the RFC which are true and accurate. The other 5% would be misinformation but my strike rate is rather high. The only clowns I see on here are the likes of yourself who are too arrogant to face the facts. The boys from RFC I drink with are good mates and even they say there are quite a few dead heads at the club that continually drag it down. The RFC needs a clean out of deadwood and the exit of yourself would be a good start. Maybe then it would return to its glory of many many years ago. Personally I'd like to see that but its gonna take a hell of a shake up.

I quite like Brighton to play on not sure what it is its always up and down but I always enjoy it out there.

I dont know how many of you have seen it and Im not a supporter but Aldinga has a great surface and facilities in my opinion. Has anyone seen the work they've done this year? New scoreboard, new verandah (where the undercover Bbq is you always got wet now its much better) - Now they've converted that into a canteen aswell as Bbq area and enclosed it all so you dont have to walk up top to find out they are out of hot dogs! Also New coaches box and shelters around the ground. I seriously couldn't believe it, maybe if they put this much effort in on the field they'd be a top 4 side. ha ha.

Also have to admit and not many people will like it but Hackham has one of the best surfaces but just a pity about the club size.

My 2 cents.

Well Rock give us your front bar informed opinion of the clean out. Remember tho as with most clubs it depends a lot on volunteers and before you can put someone to one side you need a replacement, someone to put there hand up and say i can do a better job ,then come in and do it and be open to the ridicule that people love to give out.

Here is your chance to to show whats wrong with reasons why and how to fix it.

Maybe if all the other clubs in the sfl could run there club as well as wot m/vale do ,then maybe their ovals would look as bad as ours.
