Good thing you mentioned all these players and so called stars of your team. Go grab your team sheet from last years 2 minor round games and the GF sides and compare players who played on sat from both sides. This will give you an idea BLUBLU of how many players were missing from smosh side on sat. Add to that 2 of the 3 recruits we managed to convince to play for us ( OLD SCHOLARS MAY I ADD ) and then put 2 and 2 together. Smosh = 10 goal better side than Athelstone and proved it on 3 different occasions last year. Unfortunately when 12-13 of your 1st picked A grade are missing for extended periods at the same time throughout the year you will struggle to get results.
Would like to hear your results from your little assignment i have given you

Ummm...did my last post have anything to do with SMOSH West Lakes. I was answering a question about how many juniors have progressed to our A grade.

I think you have sprouted on about your injury woes long enough and those that care are all fully aware.

And of course nobody else has injury woes do they .

Oh, and you didn't beat us by 10 goals on any occasion last year. Oh, and last week we beat you by 14.

I remember when SMOSH came up to div 2 in 2005. Ormand-Allen, two Kluzeks and a few others I expect were paid well. Now you're trying to spin the poor college line. Don't forget West Lakes make up half your club and I remember them being in div 4 by themselves so they can't have been that bad.

Only two games plus finals to go, so let's have a go at the Div 2 "Team of the Year" - difficult to choose but have a go!!!

If you put forward nominations from your club initially along with there position, can then work a squad out.

IMO Modbury:
Vassal (c) gritty onballer with great skills
Gunning (c) quick good skills finds space
Beau Jarman(HBF) rarely beaten nuggety HB flanker
Chris Mitchell (HB) runs off hald back better than anyone plays tall and takes key position Fwd
Darren Mitchell (FF or ruck) gives 100% all the time craches packs & kicks straight in front of goal

No definatelly not..... Both played Juniors and started senior footy at the Hawks. Chris played a few years with Broadview in Div 1 and Daz played 2 years there before seeing the light and returning to there roots.

Ormand allen played div3 with us the year before so was already at the club and was our runner in div4 the year before when we won the flag and he retired from SANFL. ( can check our team sheet to confirm this ). Was paid but not huge dollars didnt need to pay big cause he was already at our club training and running for us and his MATES were playing there. Chris Klusek coached was paid alright, his brother came with him and was paid also but not extreme. Can you remember any of our other big recruits?? Also remember that these boys were Smosh old scholars and had mates at the club. This was our pull when we got chris back this year his MATES were playing. Could have gone anywhere for more money than he gets paid.
Our side relies on old scholars.

From Smosh could only be a few noms.
Josh Netchaicowsky - Co-Captain onballer who has been very consistent battling away in an undermanned team
Robbie Fraser - Has been a revelation since being injected into the midfield, and only struggled mid season due to playing CHF where delivery was awful and starved of opportunities
Ian Ralston - Full Back who tackles the best forward every week and rarely gets beaten. Remembering the ball comes down to the smosh backline like a rubber ball on a string bat.

Ha ha, I expected the old "he wanted to play with his mates" line. Don't worry, it's OK to pay people occasionally, just because Athelstone does it, doesn't make it bad. Don't try and exclude your club from throwing money around.

Athelsone have done a good job to stay up in Div 2, they too have alot of injuries, do you see them complaining like you TFS?
Keep bringing up the past, i don't think Athelstone are worried about that, its more the present & looking ahead than going backwards like you blokes. You make me laugh when you mention12-13 first pick A graders missing, its as big a laugh  i've had since i heard your side celebrating earlier in the year on how there gonna win the Div 2 flag in 2008.

Not bad Jayne but I reckon you've been a bit hard on Yeomans and a little generous with Loukes and I'd say Pinkney is either CHF or not in at all

Clancy from shocs will be close to CHB takes the best forward each week does not get beaten. Also Zanker from raggies. both in my eyes are a lot better the Pinkney.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Good team Jayne but sort of with Rotter on this one, I'd be partial to Yoemans however he's missed some games I believe, McLean has probably been more consistent this year (or a stand-out in an average team) and would be a starter in my team.

Just to throw a name in (it's hard when you only see them twice) but Rowe from Townies (No:15) was pretty impressive not sure how he went against others.

Red Maclean should eb at CHb IMO and you can bag/hate SMOSH as much as you want, but if you thinks theres a better fullback in the league then Ralston your absolutely dreaming.

Keep in mind how the ball comes down compared to someone to others from the stronger sides.
