Actually... The U16's were enjoying their week off mate.... They are a game clear in 8th spot and have 3 matches left for the season against Noarlunga (9th), Flaggies (7th) and Porties (6th)..... So no they were not playing senior football down at Aldinga and they were not going to travel down to Marion to play M'Vale when they are trying to cement a finals spot....

The direction our club is headed in is what exactly?? Can you please explain to me our business plan Cyclops??

I hear whispers that Steve Besley (Reynella Assist Coach) might be considered for the A grade coaching role next year. They are only whispers at this stage but it would indicate that Evans may not be around in 2009. Word has it that Evans is doing some under the table talking with some other clubs.

How about get off of the Hackham bashing cyclops it's getting old to try and puff your chest out behind a computer screen. I don't think that Morphett Vale have a D grade for the likes of your type. Warrior only tries to support his club not ear bash others like yourself, grow up mate.

Rock your constant rambilings about D. Evans has driven me to call him and ask the question of him so i can report the facts once and for all.

In his contract with Reynella he has stipulated that if a better job at a higher level was offered to him and he wants to take it his contract with them is nul and void. So he has no trouble in letting you know that he has had discussions with. Nth Melb, Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond and Port Adelaide but they are no more than discussions at this stage so nothing really to report,oh other than he does also coach Goodwood Saints under 10's and his contract there states the same thing and he is considering coaching the Under 11's next year.

So all is cleared up for you now and there will be no need to ask the same question again

Over and out

Congrats to Aldinga on a hard-fought win. I'm disappointed I wasn't there to see it - the little tacker's had a persistent cold this winter and we couldn't bring him out in this weather - but I reckon that's the win they've been needing all year. :D :D :D Go the Sharks!!

This should be a cracker of a match as Brighton have alot to prove. Or were people on here getting a little ahead of themselves with Brighton (especially shoe boy) and last week was just a little reality check for them after playing a bunch of the lower ranked teams - time will tell.

AFL Flyer,Agree I have been writing up Brighton and like some was surprised about last weeks resut. Saying that I am still on them and expect a big game come Sat against the premiers. :)

Well done Brighton a great win also nearly a clean sweep in all grades, could this be a changing of the guard??

The Shoe,s ventured down to Hackham and I dont know were to start. I have seen many posts of support for the Hawks and there poor performances but I am sorry I wont be one. You can smooth it over, push it under the carpet, call it what you want but this club requires major surgery and it is going to take a long long long time to turn around. I sat and observed from 7.30 to 5 and see to few do to much!! There are some quality people I am sure who are trying to turn the club around but these people where the same people who have made bad disissions in the past. As I have posted in the past I applaud the club for getting juniors up and running but it is time for some honest views and not good old Hackham. I beleive the culture of the footy club to be one of the major problems and to see kids come of the park after another belting and accept it, :( is of concern. I wont even start with the seniors???
Some one had to say it and that is my thoughts? As for our boys it was a clean sweep in some of the worst conditions I have seen. The snior boys keep a finals chance alive and all other grades get a taste of September well done :D

Not in the second week of August.

The second week of August is pretty close to September.
I was one who was firmly convinced the Emus were still the one to beat, but this is now three times a side has found the way to get through Morphett Vale.
